Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SOX/ICOFR ITGC Audit Specialist to bolster our IT audit functions and champion our organization’s compliance efforts.
• This role will emphasize both the implementation and audit defense perspectives, ensuring we not only meet industry standards but also confidently stand up to external audits.

Requirements:

• Educational/ Work ex: ○ Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute. ○ 1+ Years of experience in relevant role
• Required abilities / competencies: ○ Ability to translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical framework ○ Ability to experiment with alternate analytical techniques to solve a problem ○ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills ○ Ability to independently plan and execute deliverables ○ Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements
• Technical capabilities: ○ Good handle in SQL, Excel, other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.) ○ Basic understanding of statistical modelling and statistical tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS or SPSS. ○ Good to have: working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc.

IT Audit, ITGC Audits, ITAC Audits, IPE Evaluations, SOX/ICOFR, SQL, Python, Project Management

Responsibility:

• Lead and coordinate ITGC audits, ensuring compliance with SOX/ICOFR regulations.
• Engage with external auditors, presenting evidence and defending the organization’s compliance status.
• Identify non-compliances or gaps and work collaboratively with IT and business teams to address and resolve them within specified timelines.
• Conduct ITAC audits and IPE evaluations, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of automated controls.
• Utilize SQL and Python skills to assess system data and automate audit processes where applicable.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that each is progressing as planned and meeting compliance and organizational objectives.
• Review, design, and test internal controls across various IT domains.
• Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
