- We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong background in data engineering tools and Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python language.
- Should have good experience in building and maintaining the infrastructure for data engineering pipelines on GCP and work closely with data engineering and software development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment and operation of data processing and analytics systems.
- Strong understanding of GCP services and their applications in data engineering and analytics, including Big Query, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Data Studio.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on GCP for data engineering and analytics workloads.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to design and deploy efficient data pipelines.
- Automate and optimize the deployment and configuration of data engineering and analytics tools and services on GCP.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and performance issues in collaboration with the operations team.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of new features and improvements.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on GCP and data engineering tools.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, Git.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and familiarity with multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and code review processes.
Good to have:
Google Cloud certifications, such as Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Certified – Data Engineer.
