Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Social Media Designer with 2-3 years of experience who possesses a strong passion for design, excellent illustration skills, and a comprehensive understanding of social media tools and trends. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating visually compelling content tailored to various social media platforms, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to communicate effectively through design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on social media content creation.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work, with an emphasis on social media layout designs, video graphics/layouts, typography and illustrations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design software.
- Strong illustration skills with a distinct creative style and concept.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and content best practices.
- Ability to adapt design concepts to suit different platforms and campaign objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibility:
- Design visually appealing graphics, illustrations, post/carousel/story templates, Reel slate template designs, video content visualisation and other multimedia content for use across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all social media channels through cohesive design elements and messaging.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and achieve marketing objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to inform design decisions and strategies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
